Cyber insurance requirements have changed. As a result of new technical requirements, some healthcare organizations find themselves unprepared at renewal, oftentimes with less than 60 days to implement new mandated controls to maintain coverage. These changes are affecting healthcare organization’s cybersecurity programs, their budgets, and their board level discussions. In this focus group, we will discuss the importance of cyber insurance to any cybersecurity program, the impacts and challenges these changes may have on healthcare organizations as a whole, and how budgets are being adjusted to compensate for additional expenses.
